Sometimes in the media industry with strict time constraints prior to publication.
A main feature or person may not be available at the last moment, which throws the whole project into disarray. with this scenario one is faced with rewriting/redesigning much of the project. Although not yet in the media industry full time I have recently faced this situation with a musician called Zuby who agreed to an interview and a photographic shoot for my magazine project. He reneged on his promise with no explanation, my having done a lot of background research and composed his biography I only needed photographs and answers for completion. "A harsh lesson learned" Also during the recent Justin Bieber debacle, you can say I was shocked/horrified by his view that he would have assaulted the photographer involved.This view point I could not share.I also viewed previous tweets, which cemented my thoughts that this is not a person I could work with, the real person was far removed from the media image portrayed. We were too different for a shared project.
With little time left to find another main feature I have featured myself in place of Zuby
and rewritten and redisigned the project, I hope this meets with approval?
As I previously mentioned > "A harsh lesson learned" but should this happen to a project in the real media world I could draw from this experience and publish a completed work on time
